O&M Proposal Engineer
Do you have a technical background and commercial flair? Then you could be the right candidate for this interesting position as O&M Proposal Engineer in our Service Sales department.
In our Service Sales department, we prepare proposals for long-term Operation & Maintenance contracts in the range of EUR 100 – 200 million, for diesel, biomass and waste to energy power plants, where BWSC undertakes the full operation and maintenance of the plant on behalf of the Owner.
Prepare our commercial proposal
As O&M Proposal Engineer you will be preparing and negotiating commercial agreements and proposals with customers and potential consortium partners. You will participate in technical and commercial processes in an international environment with multiple stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Working with specification, calculation and preparation of proposals for our long-term O&M contracts
- Preparing contract documents and participating in contract negotiations
- Developing new innovative and competitive O&M concepts
- Capturing and anchoring lessons learned from previously executed projects.
The position offers the right candidate to grow within business critical decision making, sales project management.
Solid technical understanding
You hold a technical background such as marine engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer with commercial education or experience. Preferably you have experience from working in the power plant industry.
You are an analysist with eye for detail and accuracy. Your excellent interpersonal capabilities include loyalty towards confidentiality and customer service orientation.
Furthermore you have:
- Relevant experience in a similar contractual environment
- Commercial flair and interest in proposal and sales of complex technical and commercial O&M contracts
- Systematic and committed with the ability to focus in a dynamic and often hectic environment.
You are a self-starter with project management skills. Your drive helps you take initiative and have decisiveness as well as a sense of urgency. You work with a positive and constructive attitude. You are proactive and have the ability to take a task and run with it independently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills within business Danish and English are expected.
