We are globally market leading in sales of turn-key power plants, in particular diesel power plants, but also within the field of renewable energy. We have a good volume of orders and are at present working with diesel power plants on the Bahamas, Cayman, Panama, Greece, Cyprus, Kenya, plus a biomass power plant in Wales. New orders are in the pipeline, and this is why we are looking for a competent Construction Engineer for a position in our Allerød Head Office.
The Position
BWSC is a project-oriented contractor working in a matrix organization which makes heavy demands on the cross-functional cooperation. The projects are implemented in an international environment and often in cooperation with international partners with BWSC as consortium leader.
The Construction Engineer will have the following areas of responsibility:
• To systematize and ensure continuity in work flows and communication flows between the international sites and the Construction Department
• To ensure that HSE-tasks are performed incl. implementation of local and/or contractual requirements in addition to BWSC standard manual.
• To handle and systematize deficiency reports from the sites in a library, including passing on the information to relevant functions such as the Claims Department
• To gradually take over and maintain the stock of test instruments and heavy equipment.
• To initiate and maintain a technical library in the department
• To maintain BWSC’s Site Manager and Supervisor IT programmes
Qualifications
• You probably have an educational background in engineering or marine engineering.
• It is an advantage if you have worked with international turn-key projects.
• You are cost-conscious and can get to the bottom of complicated technical problems.
• You have good English skills both orally and in writing.
