In July 2007 Public Power Corporation (PPC) of Greece and BWSC signed a contract for the expansion of the power generation capacity at the power station on the Greek island of Milos.
The 2 x 5.5 MW project covers 2 units of MAN 12V32/40 medium speed diesel engines including relevant auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment – all to be installed in an already existing power house within 18 months.
The contract with PPC Island Department is one out of PPC’s ongoing projects for renovation and expansion of the generation capacity of the power installations on the many Greek holiday islands.
