In November 2003 Bermuda Electric Light Company Limited (BELCO) signed a contract with BWSC for the delivery of a 2 x 14.5 MW extension to the East Power Station at Pembroke, Bermuda. MAN B&W is the nominated diesel engine supplier (type MAN B&W 14 cylinder 48/60).
BWSC is the Turnkey Contractor with MAN B&W as the nominated supplier of the diesel engines and alternators. The new contract represents a confirmation of the cooperation between BELCO and BWSC since the early 1980’ies.
