Energy consumption sets new records every day and the use of fossil fuels must be significantly reduced to limit the influence on the World’s climate. One effective way to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions is to use biomass as fuel in power plants.
BWSC has entered into the biomass power plant sector utilizing a wide variety of fuels, such as straw, woodchip or other organic material. We cooperate with leading suppliers of boilers, turbines and other equipment ensuring “State-of-the-Art” solutions.
The BWSC biomass plant consists mainly of fuel storage and feed systems, steam boiler, steam turbine, generator, condenser and flue gas cleaning system. The plant can be adapted with backpressure or condensing turbines to suit the specified need for power and heat. The plant size range is from 10 to 60 MW electric output with a possible heat or steam production of 20 to 150 MW.
BWSC also offers full operation and maintenance of the plant or assistance with the same, after completion of the plant.
