Technical assistance
We at BWSC see ourselves as the client’s technical back-office. We provide all relevant assistance such as:
• Engine and generator overhaul, repair, and trouble-shooting
• Maintenance, repair, and up-grade of mechanical and electrical auxiliary equipment
• Delivery and set-up of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Survey of plant power consumption with the aim of energy saving
• Performance and heat-rate measurements.
Technical Support Agreement (TSA)
A Technical Support Agreement with BWSC is a comprehensive form of technical assistance, which will ensure plant owners optimal availability, reliability, and cost effectiveness of the plant by having all-round diesel power plant expertise at hand through the permanent presence of one or more experienced BWSC diesel power plant engineers.
Such resident engineers will assist the owner in all matters related to operation and maintenance of the power plant. Moreover, the owner will - through the resident engineer(s) - continuously have access to state-of-the-art know-how and technical back-up from BWSC’s home organization. A Technical Support Agreement can, on a fixed price basis, be tailored to include timely delivery of all spare parts for scheduled as well as un-scheduled maintenance, “flying squad” for major overhauls, training packages, etc. This will reduce the owner’s exposure to unreasonable operation and maintenance costs, save time for purchasing, and facilitate budgeting.
Furthermore, BWSC is willing to include guarantees for performance, availability, reliability, and other key performance factors for plant operation and maintenance.
